In a search to find myself after becoming a mother i was inspired to create these earring designs that symbolizes love, self love.
Amor propio means self love in my native language papiamentu.
The earrings are made with Curaçao’s very own calabash fruit shell. I kept the natural color of the calabash and used embellished stones to illustrate a heart on the calabash shell to make it pop with love.
Wear these earrings if you want to be reminded of the love you have for yourself, you owe it to yourself to love yourself deeply. You cannot pour from a empty cup, so this is your reminder to fill your cup.
