Kurason di Bandera, Heart of the Flag is born from two of Curaçao’s most powerful traditions: the calabash fruit, a vessel that has carried life and meaning across generations, and the spirit of transforming what remains into something extraordinary.
Each heartshaped calabash base is handcovered in a mosaic of dried paint remnants, the leftovers of creation, the colors that stayed behind. Blue for the sea that surrounds us. Yellow for the sun that defines us. White for the stars that guide us. Nothing is wasted. Everything is intentional.
