When I was making these brown, caramel, gold series I was feeling a sense of calmness, grounding, like i’m one with nature. I was reminded that i am human (not superwoman like I pretend I need to be) I felt the freedom/liberation flow through my brush while I was painting. I let that feeling of freedom guide me through the painting.
